A former autobody garage, the 2448 Burnside Building traded a dated, worn face for a contemporary façade that gives the retail building a greater presence along the East Burnside business corridor. The complete renovation included a structural upgrade, extensive repair of the façade’s stucco finish, the incorporation of a new cedar-clad parapet, new canopies for tenant signage, and the transformation of the old garage into a retail space.
