SUM designed Fibre Federal Credit Union’s Warrenton branch to withstand the harsh coastal climate while offering a warm, modern experience for members and staff. The result is a resilient, community-focused space that reflects Fibre Federal’s long-term vision and commitment to service.

A cross-laminated timber (CLT) roof and exposed glulam post-and-beam structure extend seamlessly from the deep exterior soffits into the interior ceiling, showcasing SUM’s attention to craftsmanship and continuity. Durable materials, such as ceramic panel cladding, rainscreens, and specialty stains, were carefully selected to weather the elements without sacrificing aesthetic clarity.

Inside, SUM created an open, light-filled floor plan with lofted ceilings and clerestory windows, inviting natural light and enhancing comfort. The design balances performance and presence—delivering a refined coastal branch that embodies Fibre Federal’s values through thoughtful architectural expression.
