TwinStar Credit Union and long-time partner Momentum engaged SUM to bring architectural distinction and vibrancy to a prominent corner lot in downtown Aberdeen. The resulting design features a dramatic butterfly roof inspired by the nearby Olympic Mountains, creating a bold northwest silhouette.

Natural light plays a central role, with clerestory windows washing the sloped ceilings and highlighting the custom teller pods below. A mix of materials, layered lighting, and warm finishes create an inviting interior, while the floor plan supports function with open teller space, private offices, and breakout areas along the perimeter.

Highly visible from the interstate, the new branch not only elevates the banking experience, it contributes to the revitalization of the surrounding neighborhood.
